Deputy Head of Quality and Collaboration Unit (QCU)
The Quality and Collaboration Unit (QCU) manages and supports the University’s quality and academic collaborative processes.
Due to the range of areas covered by QCU, the department has three deputy managers who oversee the day to day running of the QCU Team which comprises 11 members of staff. Responsible to the Head of Quality and Collaboration, the Deputy will contribute towards the delivery of high quality, efficient and effective support for the University's quality assurance and enhancement functions, including those in relation to our partnerships and collaborative arrangements in the UK and overseas through Transnational Education (TNE).
Experience of working in further or higher education and high level communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.
You will need substantial experience of working in an educational or public sector multi-functional team and have proven competences to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to achieve results; work effectively both independently and as a member of a team and meet objectives and deadlines.
You will also have a proven commitment to the development and provision of excellent customer services, be able to show a commitment to our ethos of continual improvement of service, be proficient in the use of Office technology and committed to equality and diversity and health and safety.
