Aspire to HE is part of the Office for Students (OfS) funded National Collaborative Outreach Programme NCOP and is integral to the University’s strategy for delivering Access and Outreach activities into schools and colleges. The aim of the programme is to inform and motivate targeted students about the opportunities that are available and to support them on their progressive journey into higher education. Aspire to HE sustained programmes of support- with a focus on as many as possible taking place in Higher education environments- that conveys a real sense of what studying in higher education is like and its many benefits. NCOP is a four year externally funded programme until July 31st 2021, with the potential for the programme to continue beyond (subject to approval by the Office for Students).


You will ensure all administrative systems are in place both for the effective running of Aspire to HE’s finance processes (processing and paying of invoices to partners and suppliers) through close working with the Aspire to HE Operations Manager, and organising and maintaining accurate minutes of Aspire to HE’s two governance Boards. You will also provide administrative support to the Director of Aspire to HE and Aspire Leadership Group (Work Stream Leads); College Partnership Manager/ Operations and Partnerships Manager through accurate record keeping of Aspire to HE’s weekly leadership team meetings and logistical support in organising Aspire to HE’s team meetings and termly team away days and social events.
