As the University of Wolverhampton Library continues to expand its support to the growing University Research Community, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Scholarly Communications Librarian who can work at both a strategic and operational level.

This is an exciting time to join the team, as our support for research is being developed through the implementation of a current research information system and the establishment of a research data management service, as well as playing a key role in supporting REF 2021. We are seeking candidates with initiative and the ability to innovate in response to change and new ways of working.

You will have expert knowledge of Open Research and the research lifecycle, and will be able to ensure the continued development and delivery of the Library’s Scholarly Communications team, a small team responsible for advocacy, processes and services relating to Open Access, Research Data Management and wider support for scholarly communications developments.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for this role, which involves engaging with a range of academic and professional service colleagues to ensure policy compliance and embed awareness and best practice relating to Open Research across the University.
