We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to a full time vacancy in our central Admissions team at the University of Wolverhampton. The Admissions team is based within the University’s Registry and is responsible for ensuring an efficient, responsive and fair admissions process for applicants to the University, ensuring procedures are carried out in accordance with requirements of external bodies.

 

Educated to at least GCSE standard or equivalent, you will have demonstrable administration experience and be proficient in use of office technology including word processing, databases, spreadsheets and email. You must be able to demonstrate an excellent standard of literacy and numeracy and it is essential that you have experience in using SITS/ eVision, or a similar student management system.

 

Being able to communicate effectively with staff, students and external customers is key and you will be expected to display a high level of experience dealing with confidential information with discretion and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.

 

You will need to have the ability to work with a wider team and independently, using your initiative and working to tight deadlines and under pressure while maintaining the University of Wolverhampton’s commitment to excellent customer service. You will be required to be flexible in your working hours to meet the demands of the business, especially at key times of the admissions cycle.
