Vice Principal (Academic)

The International Academy, based in Priorslee, Telford is seeking to appoint a Vice Principal (Academic) to contribute to the achievement of the University and International Academy Strategic objectives by leading, managing and co-ordinating successful delivery of objectives.
You will support the Principal in key academic projects such as the development of testing or course development for key partners nationally and internationally and will support academic continuous improvement of the International Academy via the necessary committees and working groups ensuring the maintenance of university academic standards.
You should have excellent English language teaching and communication skills and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. It is essential that you are Teaching English as a Foreign Language Qualified (TEFLQ), have experience of course and materials creation and working in a Higher Education environment. Creation of online provision and assessment creation and assessment writing are also essential for this role. You should have experience of dealing with students from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, with an understanding and respect for cultural diversity. You should also have a good first degree and MA/higher is desirable.
