Lecturer in Economics
The Faculty of Social Sciences is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Economics. We are looking for an individual to contribute to the provision of high quality teaching within the Faculty, maintenance of high academic standards and excellent standards of customer care, development of the Faculty’s portfolio of courses and generation of external income for the Faculty. You should either have a PhD in Economics or will be nearing completion of a PhD in Economics and have a good record of teaching in the HE sector. You will be able to teach and research in the broad subject area of Economics. We are particularly looking for candidates who have interests in Industrial Economics, Managerial Economics or Economic Analysis and Methods, but those with other specialist interests are also welcome. You will also be expected to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects and dissertations in their areas of expertise.
