Nights Security Officer
A vacancy exists at the University of Wolverhampton for an enthusiastic person to join Facilities and Support Services in the role of Nights Security Officer.
You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for students, staff and visitors throughout the campus and other University premises. Your duties will include static guarding, foot and mobile patrols, incident response and control room operation. With previous experience, preferably gained in the security industry or with the police/military, you will hold a current clean UK manual driving licence.
You must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence and have good verbal and written communication skills. In addition you will have the ability to negotiate with and influence others and to deal with issues of confidentiality and sensitive situations in a constructive and empathetic way. Experience of both the public and private sector is desirable.
You will be working a 4 nights on and 4 nights off with annualised hours of 37 hours per week. Start and finish times are: 2018-0645hrs. Please note you will be working at all the University Campuses and premises.
