Knowledge Transfer Specialist
Temporary post until 31st December 2021
The University of Wolverhampton has been part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to deliver a ‘Composites and Additive Layer Materials Engineering Research and Innovation Centre’ (CALMERIC), alongside our School of Engineering on the Telford Innovation Campus. The CALMERIC project supports small companies (SMEs) based within the Shropshire and Staffordshire counties to carry out research and innovation projects in the field of advanced engineering materials, in collaboration with specialist staff and resources in the Centre.
The Knowledge Transfer Specialist will be responsible for managing the research collaboration activities of academic and research specialist staff based in the CALMERIC centre, working with SME companies developing new products that incorporate advanced materials. This role demands specialist knowledge and capability with engineering design and analysis tools, because the Knowledge Transfer Specialist will be personally responsible for carrying out technical consultancy work to support the collaborations.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience of producing technical reports and industrial experience related to engineering design and analysis.
Informal enquiries can be made to: Prof Andrew Pollard, CALMERIC Project Director, Email: firstname.lastname@example.org Tel: 01902 321763
The University of Wolverhampton values a diverse workforce and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
