Programme Monitoring Officer
Temporary Fixed Term contract to April 2020
Working across the University’s externally funded project portfolio to ensure a consistent monitoring approach is adopted to meet organisational and project audit requirements. To supervise monitoring procedures for identified externally funded projects, the aggregation of information and preparation of reports, as part of the Economic Partnerships and Growth Support Team.
Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification in Business or Administration Management you will have a track record as a highly effective administrator with advanced IT skills in MS Office including word-processing, spreadsheets and databases. You should have knowledge of European funded project monitoring requirements and an ability to recognise trends in data and identify and flag discrepancies as monitoring budgets and financial reporting will be necessary. You will have effective report writing skills including statistical analysis and experience of monitoring project outcomes. Experience of project management would be advantageous. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be enthusiastic, able to undertake a diverse range of duties working independently to meet deadlines.
