Estates Management is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Digital Information Systems Technician based within the Estates Data and Support Systems Team. You will be responsible for assisting the BIM and Digital Assets Manager in maintaining and updating digital information systems within the department.


You will have a broad knowledge and experience of computer applications including spreadsheets and databases and, more specifically, a good working knowledge and experience of 2D AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit and BIM applications. In addition, you will be experienced in working within a professional office carrying out surveying/draughting work.


Working under the direction of the BIM and Digital Assets Manager and in conjunction with the Capital Development Team and Asset Management Team, you will assist in developing, improving and maintaining the Estates digital building information, incorporating maintenance of the Premises Management Information System (PMIS), building floorplans and digital models.


You will be based in Wolverhampton but will be required to travel throughout the University estate.
