Business Engagement and Employability Administrator (0.5)

The Faculty of Social Sciences is seeking to appoint a Business Engagement and Employability Administrator as a job share to take responsibility for administration of the careers and employability initiatives in the Faculty. You will offer effective liaison with sponsoring partners, stakeholders and employers, providing professional administration support for employer links.
You will be educated to A level standard or equivalent. You will be able to demonstrate evidence of good office and administrative experience, with sound knowledge of MS Office applications with high standards of literacy and numeracy. You will have excellent communication skills and experience of using a variety of appropriate media.
Knowledge or experience of working within stipulated regulations and procedures is essential as is experience of working with external clients from a range of cultural backgrounds.
Personal attributes required include a proactive and professional approach, excellent interpersonal skills, good organisational capabilities, ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to work under pressure. You will be enthusiastic, able to work independently and under your own initiative, while showing demonstrable commitment to working collaboratively in a team.
