The University of Wolverhampton Faculty of Social Sciences invites applicants to join a portfolio of visiting lecturers who will be available for part-time or short term contracts. Once applicants are included on the visiting lecturer list they may be invited to teach on a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and executive programmes or contribute to training and consultancy projects. Applications are welcome for any combination(s) of subject, level and mode of delivery. We are also looking for individuals who can also do moderation and TNE work for the Business School
We are currently seeking applicants with relevant backgrounds which would enable them to contribute to any of the above areas in the University of Wolverhampton Business School also ideally in the areas listed below under each department:
- Department of Finance, Accounting, Systems and Economics
- International Business and Operations/Supply Chain Management
- Department of Human Resources and Leadership
- Leadership, Strategy and CIPD experience at level 7 across a range of generalist modules.
- Department of Marketing, Innovation, Leisure and Enterprise
- Marketing, Digital Marketing, Tourism and Events
Visiting lecturers will be committed to business education excellence and normally be qualified to at least master's level, or equivalent. Practising or former managers interested should, additionally, have experience of work-based training and/or experience of teaching and/or a teaching/training qualification. Current or former lecturers should have experience of teaching and a teaching qualification. Visiting Lecturers need to be student focussed and be willing to support a diverse group of students.
A willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends, and to work off site including overseas, would be advantageous.
