This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Faculty professional services where you will provide an integrated and high-quality professional service to applicants, students and staff across the University. The post will be based within the Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing on the Walsall campus where you will provide administrative support to the Faculty’s Research Centre Heads and other Senior Academic staff.
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent, you will have demonstrable administration experience and be proficient in use of office technology including word processing, databases, spreadsheets and email. You must be able to demonstrate an excellent standard of literacy and numeracy and have experience in using a student management system such as SITS or e:Vision.
You will be expected to display a high level of experience dealing with confidential information with discretion and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. You should have experience in planning, organising and taking minutes of meetings together with significant experience of communicating effectively and professionally with staff, students and our external customers.
You will be required to demonstrate the ability to collaboratively work as a team and individually, using initiative together with the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure while maintaining the University of Wolverhampton’s commitment to excellent customer service. You will be required to have a flexible approach in their working hours in order to meet the demands of the business and at times, may be required to travel our other campuses/sites.
