The University of Wolverhampton Business School is seeking to make a senior research appointment at Professorial level. We welcome applications from qualified candidates in any field of business and management, and are particularly interested to hear from those researching in the fields of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, International Business and Sustainability.

Established more than 80 years ago and located within the Faculty of Social Sciences, the University of Wolverhampton Business School offers a full range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. We also run a very successful doctoral programme, Executive Education and Professional programmes. We have a strong track record of engagement with business and knowledge exchange activity including KTPs and innovative developments in the field of degree apprenticeships.  Our strong industry links are reflected in our approach to research which focuses on the pursuit of rigorous and relevant applied management research.

Following a period of sustained success in recruitment, student satisfaction and business engagement, the Business School has recently completed a £19 million investment in its facilities. In the last REF, 79% of our research was judged to be of internationally recognised standard and higher. The University is committed to investments to further enhance the School’s research.

Through the appointment of a new Professor, we wish to further build capacity in our strategically important research areas. We look to appoint a scholar with a strong track record of publication and income generation that shares our mission to deliver high quality research that has relevance for practice and underpins our curriculum. You will contribute to the Management Research Centre, develop our community of early career researchers and PhD students.
