Online and Distance Learning Administrator
Part time 18.5 hours
The Faculty of Social Sciences is seeking to appoint to the post of an Online and Distance Learning Administrator to provide professional administration and support for online distance learning courses, nationally and internally. You will offer effective liaison with overseas educational partners and other stakeholders including regional offices and agents.
You will be educated to A-level standard (or equivalent) and be required to demonstrate evidence of good office and administrative experience, with sound knowledge of microsoft office applications and high standards of literacy and numeracy. Excellent communication skills and experience of using a variety of appropriate media is a prerequisite of the post.
Experience of working within stipulated regulations and procedures is essential as is an understanding and respect for cultural diversity and experience using distance learning / web-based applications. Experience of dealing with overseas clients is desirable.
Personal attributes required include a proactive and professional approach, excellent interpersonal skills, good organisational capabilities, ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to work under pressure.
