Scholarly Communications Officer
The University of Wolverhampton Library is seeking a Scholarly Communications Officer to join our Scholarly Communications team, a small team responsible for advocacy, processes and services relating to Open Access, Research Data Management and wider support for scholarly communications developments.
This is an exciting time to join the team, as our support for research is being developed through the implementation of a current research information system and the establishment of a research data management service. You will be able to use your initiative and you will have the ability to innovate in response to change and new ways of working.
You will manage the deposit of research outputs to the University repository, provide a high quality enquiry service for scholarly communications queries and plan and deliver training.
You will also be expected to deliver on projects as directed and provide advice on copyright issues.
You will be educated to at least degree level with awareness of current issues in scholarly communications and research support. Your experience of administering an institutional repository or similar complex information system as well as highly developed IT skills will help us ensure our scholarly communications services are the best they can be.
The University of Wolverhampton values a diverse workforce and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
