We have a vacancy for a Support and Security Assistant working from both our Walsall and City campuses. The post is a key front-facing role providing students with support during our extended opening hours (weekdays 19:30-midnight). You will help users to access Library resources, perform basic troubleshooting and will ensure that the library is a welcoming and safe environment.

You will be the first port of call for student enquiries and will need to be able to follow established procedures when monitoring the library for noise or inappropriate behaviour. You will need to be pro-active in providing a welcoming and supportive library environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to provide high quality support to our students.

The post is for 20 hours a week working 4 shifts of 19:15-00:15 and you must be able to travel to other campuses as necessary.
