The School is looking to recruit a Technician Demonstrator to support teaching and lab activities in the subject area of Computer Networking, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity and/or robotics. You should have an undergraduate degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent and/or technical support/demonstrating experience. A postgraduate degree and/or professional certifications and qualifications would be an advantage.
You will support the School’s practical work, in particular student sessions in the labs under the guidance of academic staff. You will also provide technical support and maintenance of school’s lab facilities. These responsibilities will form a variable proportion of the working week and will differ over the academic year. You should demonstrate an awareness of current health and safety legislation as applicable to laboratory working.
