A vacancy exists at the University of Wolverhampton for an enthusiastic person to join Facilities & Support Services in the role of Caretaker initially based at The Wolverhampton Science Park Campus, Glasier Drive.
You must be physically capable of using relevant equipment, a good communicator and capable of completing basic forms and documents. You will be required to work across a number of campus locations. You should be flexible in approach and display good customer skills, and have the ability to use your initiative and be able to work positively within a team.
To operate as a member of a Team of Caretakers to carry out the day to day duties required to promote the professional, customer focussed support service across the University estate.
To assist the Operations Coordinator/Shift Supervisor to provide an efficient and effective support service for all students, staff and visitors covering cleaning, portering, minor repairs and security in accordance with Service Level standards and University policy and procedures. You will hold a current clean driving licence.
You will be working as an A3 shift caretaker on a working pattern of 3 mornings/3 afternoons and 3 days off over an annual average week of 37hrs.
