We are seeking to appoint 5 enthusiastic lecturers to contribute to the provision of high quality teaching and research within the Institute of Health. You will predominantly support our nursing associate programme but will also contribute to the wider provision of pre-registration nurse education.

Dedication to innovative teaching and research activities within nursing are a requirement of the role alongside the maintenance of high academic standards and enhancement of the student experience. You will have a commitment to engaging with the practice environment and maintain up to date knowledge and skills enabling the delivery of a dynamic, responsive curriculum.  You will contribute to the development of the faculty’s portfolio of courses, linking with relevant external partners and the generation of external income for the University.

You will be educated to a minimum of a Master’s degree level or equivalent and will be registered in the UK with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Registered Nurse (RN) (Adult Field).  Experience of healthcare provision at an appropriate level within nursing is essential alongside an understanding of healthcare policy and provision both locally and nationally.
