You will be expected to have a good track record of teaching or training, a commitment to enhancing the student experience, and an aptitude for utilising technology to enrich learning.  You will be expected to contribute to the development of the Faculty’s portfolio of courses and generation of external income. In particular we are seeking specialists in emergency planning/management, resilience and business continuity that have knowledge and understanding of relevant UK and international policy applicable to these fields.

Over time you may be expected to contribute to other course delivery in line with our changing business demands and evolving portfolio of courses. For example, cross faculty work or in an advisory role in support of the university’s emergency/business continuity arrangements.

You will be educated to at least postgraduate level or equivalent (or soon to be so), have relevant knowledge and experience of practice in emergency/disaster management and business continuity, and have a motivation to new developments, opportunities, as well as a desire to bring academic and practice elements of this field closer together.
