Second Line Support Analyst
The Directorate of Academic Support plays a pivotal role in delivering on the University’s strategic aims, interacting with all constituent parts of the organisation. Over the next 3-5 years, the University of Wolverhampton is embarking on a major Transformation Programme to create a “Digital Campus” which is as important and significant as the physical campus. The goal of the Digital Campus is to create a campus without boundaries where the data and information required by a member of the University community can be found and accessed at any point in time from any location. This is an exciting multi-million pound programme, which will require synergy between people, ICT and processes. It is not an ICT programme, although ICT is a key enabler and many projects in the first instance will involve implementation of IT applications and infrastructure.
The Directorate of Academic Support is seeking to appoint a Second Line Support Analyst within the Second Line Support Team.
You will support existing services in the area of Virtual Learning Systems, Audio Visual Technology and supporting new services as you are transitioned from Development into Business as Usual.
Key skills and experience required:
- Experience of MS Windows and MS Office Suite of products
- Experience of Audio Visual technology
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve incidents in a timely manner
- Ability to adapt and develop new skills in a fast paced environment
Based within the Directorate of Academic Support in MX Building you will be required to work across all campuses.
