The Faculty Administration Department provides an integrated and high-quality professional service to applicants, students and staff across the University.  You will be based within the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Wolverhampton.

 

We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic individual to work with the Faculty Registrar to operationalise delivery of high quality customer service to staff, students and external stakeholders.  You will deputise for the Faculty Registrar in agreed aspects of Faculty administration and operations and delivery effective operations in support of the Faculty’s vision and strategy, under the direction of the Faculty Registrar.

 

You will be educated to degree level or have significant relevant experience, you will be able to demonstrate that you are proficient in the use of office technology including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, email and the internet, have the ability to produce clear relevant reports, have experience of managing staff, including recruitment, performance management and appraisals and have the ability to work successfully with staff at all levels across an organisation to achieve results.

 

Experience of working in a challenging environment, adapting to changing priorities and timescales to meet deadlines is essential alongside demonstrable experience of excellent financial management skills including account reconciliation, forecasting, trend analysis, meeting audit requirements, experience of project costing and negotiation with clients and the ability to present complex information to a lay audience with recommendations for action.
