The University of Wolverhampton, jointly with the Diocese of Lichfield, is seeking to recruit a Senior Chaplain to lead the co-ordination of its multi-faith chaplaincy provision: www.wlv.ac.uk/chaplaincy
The University benefits from a thriving and innovative Chaplaincy Team supporting its community of 25,000 staff and students representing all faiths and none.
The post of Senior Chaplain is jointly and equally funded by the University and the Diocese of Lichfield and as such is only open to applicants who are an ordained minister with significant experience of working within the Church of England, or the wider Anglican Communion.
The appointment will be made by the Diocese of Lichfield, and the terms and conditions of appointment will be as an incumbent in the Church of England. You will be seconded to the University of Wolverhampton to fulfil the role.
The applicable salary is currently £36,570 (Incumbents Stipend + Diocesan Housing Allowance) Housing would not normally be provided.
The deadline for applications is 28th February 2018 and interviews are expected to be held in mid March.
