Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Psychology (Counselling Psychology)
The Faculty of Education Health and Wellbeing, University of Wolverhampton is pleased to invite applications for the post of Counselling Psychology at the level of Lecturer / Senior Lecturer.
Building on a long history as a provider of postgraduate professional training experiences, we have developed our awards to ensure graduates remain at the forefront of innovative practice. We offer a community atmosphere, rewarding learning experiences and opportunities for new professional development. The appointee will be expected to contribute to both the delivery and enhancement of the Doctoral programme in Counselling Psychology, as well as deliver sessions and support students across the portfolio of awards within Psychology.
You will also be expected to supervise research projects and act as a personal tutor for students as well as engaging in scholarly activity and other duties commensurate with the role. As part of this supervision will include students undertaking the supervision of doctoral students, it is essential that you are educated to doctoral level. There is also an opportunity to become part of our programme management team for a suitably qualified and experienced applicants.
It is expected that you will undertake the University's Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education if you do not already possess a teaching qualification in higher education or are eligible to seek membership of the Higher Education Academy.
