The Faculty Registrar for the Faculty of Science and Engineering is responsible for the administrative and professional services in the Faculty providing creative and dynamic leadership to a large and diverse administrative team. We are seeking to employ a highly motivated individual with proven leadership experience who can be resourceful, who has the ability to work independently as well as within a senior team, and is able to work collegiately with colleagues.

 

You will report directly to the Dean and be responsible for advising the Dean, ensuring robust and effective governance, compliance and resource allocation in support of the Faculty’s strategic objectives, and delivering service excellence across the student lifecycle.  You will be expected to work closely with the Deans Advisory Group and Faculty Senior Management Team in an advisory capacity in order to support Faculty strategic objectives. You will be expected to lead on key Faculty projects and to represent the Faculty at key University committees and groups.

 

You will hold a first degree or equivalent qualification and have significant proven experience at a senior level as a leader of administrative teams in a complex organisation.

 

You are required to demonstrate evidence of significant financial acumen, managing projects, developing and implementing strategy and policy and managing change.

 

Experience of working within stipulated regulations and procedures is essential as is experience of working with internal and external stakeholders from a range of cultural backgrounds.
