Student Services Administrator
Faculty administration provides a high quality professional service to students, staff and customers across the University. An exciting opportunity has arisen to enhance our student experience by establishing customer service teams within faculties who meet the University strategic objective of putting Students First.
In this role you will:
- Support the enhancement of the student experience through the provision of excellent customer service as the first point of contact for all students;
- Provide appropriate advice, guidance and signposting to additional support where necessary;
- Provide excellent data integrity and quality of work
Applicants will have proven experience of working in a front facing customer service role. You will have a good standard of education, office and administration experience. Be proficient in the use of office technology and have knowledge and experience of using SITS or similar student management systems.
Applicants will have demonstrable commitment to equality and diversity, an understanding of data protection and freedom of information legislation.
We are looking to fill a number of vacancies across our four faculties:
- Faculty of Social Sciences
- Faculty of Arts
- Faculty of Science and Engineering
- Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing
Our Faculties are based across various locations; Wolverhampton, Walsall and Telford, please note whilst roles will be allocated to a home faculty and location there may be on occasion some travel between locations to meet business needs.
Applications will be considered for full time posts, 37 hours per week or part time posts 18½ hours per week. The post holder will be required to be flexible in their working hours to meet the demands of business. Please state in your application whether you are applying for a full or part time post.
