To share in our ambition we are seeking a candidate for the following Professorial full-time appointment following promotion of our current research staff. You will join a Faculty that enjoys deeply embedded links with practice across the region and beyond, in the fields of education, health, social care, psychology and sport.

 

Professorial Appointment:

 

Successful candidates will have been entered in REF2014, have a track record of internationally recognised publications and impact and demonstrate recent success in securing external project funding. You will be a team player and have demonstrated previous ability to lead, motivate, inspire and to develop others.

 

Professor of Psychology

 

The Institute of Psychology is a vibrant, growing and ambitious unit which is in a position to appoint to the position of Professor in Applied Experimental Psychology. The Institute has excellent metrics in Teaching and Learning and is seeking to enhance its already considerable research profile. As such you will be expected to undertake a significant research leadership role with an emphasis on the preparation for REF2021. Ideally you will have a research profile which will augment our existing research clusters.
