Finance Administrator (0.5FTE)
This post is part time, 18.5 hours per week
An opportunity has arisen to join the Resources team within the Faculty of Social Sciences as a Finance Administrator. You will assist the Assistant Faculty Registrar (Resources) with the day-to-day financial administration in the Faculty. You will provide support and advice to staff on Faculty finance, contribute to the day-to-day administration of the Faculty in liaison with University Finance Department and provide an excellent level of customer service.
You should also have good office and administrative experience and be proficient in use of office technology including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, email and the internet. You should have high standards of literacy and numeracy and experience of advanced use of spreadsheets, financial experience in purchasing and invoicing. A good track record of effective budget monitoring and reconciliation is required and the ability to recognise trends in data and identify and flag inconsistencies and errors.
